Ford Motor Co. is strengthening its marketing campaigns with their newest marketing communications platform tagged as "Bold Moves". The said campaign will be launched using the popular reality show "American Idol". The 60-second commercial will feature Kelly Clarkson's "Go" as the musical backdrop. Bold Moves is intended to showcase Ford products as well as how employees and customers deal and make bold moves in their everyday living.

As part of their "Way Forward" plan, Ford’s Bold Moves is aimed to deliver the message that they focus more on customers - to think like them, and see the world through their eyes.

According to the one who developed the campaign, George Rogers, president and CEO of JWT Detroit, 'Bold Moves is a new way of thinking at Ford that delivers marketing actions and more brand and customer focus.'
In the aspect of advertising, the campaign will cover both the brand and individual Ford nameplates, and it will also provide a new, creative platform for Internet, print and broadcast advertising at local to national level.
